Charlotte Mehosky is a very talented full time watercolor artist who works out of her Cecil County studio located beneath her raised rancher style home. She loves the large window in her studio, which allows lots of natural light to stream in.

Mrs. Mehosky began taking watercolor classes at the Delaware College of Art and Design while she was still a full time teacher.  But after retirement in 2008 she began painting daily and taking more classes and workshops.

Charlotte is an award-winning artist in her field. She is a signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society and her paintings “Sweet Dreams” and “Turtle Patrol” have been accepted into the 2016 and 2018 Annual Mid Atlantic Shows.  In addition, her painting “Turtle Patrol” was in the 2017 Pennsylvania Watercolor Society Show as well as the Philadelphia Water Color Society 2017 Works on Paper where it was awarded the Thornton Oakley Memorial Award.

Charlotte and her husband have been married fifty years and have two children and seven grandchildren.  She will be adding one more grandchild later this year when her son and his wife adopt another little girl from China.  She feels very blessed that her family lives close enough that she can visit them frequently.  In addition to painting, Charlotte enjoys spending time with family, reading, and gardening.
